. Life...From My Perspective: How about a quickie?

How about a quickie?

I decided to stop into my local Starbucks and write a quick blog update. Get it? A "quickie"! (get your minds out the gutter...lol)
But that local Starbucks was crowed, at 4:30...so I had to come to another one. Still crowded...but just enough space for me.

I hope everyone is having a marvellous Monday! I know it gets really hard to remain consistently productive when things have become redundant...or maybe your efforts seem to be presently yielding no reward. But trust me, its all for the best. So what do you do when you just don't FEEL like it anymore? You stop...pray...then revisit your original reasons for wanting to start in the first place. Sometimes...the anticipation of what you hope to achieve will overshadow the sacrifices needed to get there. I have to constantly fight this battle within myself, but I shall not falter! (smile)

You know, It really took me awhile to figure out what I even wanted to do with my life. I mean, I knew I had certain gifts...as we all do. But nothing really jumped out at me as if to say, "This is your Destiny.." After many frustrating failed attempts at forcing Fate...I decided to stop searching. I stopped LOOKING for a reason to justify my existence, and simply started living. I started living knowing that whatever I am supposed to do with my life...whatever life I am supposed to touch, will all happen the way and in the time it is supposed to. I must simply condition myself daily to handle that day when I am blessed to see it.

I started appreciating just being able to get up in the morning with the ability to move the fingers I hoped to one day compose a novel with. (laughing) I took a step back, evaluated the things that I actually enjoy doing...and decided to work at perfecting it. If God blesses you with a gift, you treasure it...nurture it...protect it. And that is what I shall do.

So when the time comes...for my position in the literary world to be elevated. I will be able to look back and know that I worked hard, stayed humble and remained patient. I will be able to step in o my destiny, whatever that may be...and know that where I am is right where I need to be.

May all your hopes and dreams come to pass...

Until Next Time...
