Dallas, Texas, November 9, 2009- Teen violence has no borders or boundaries…it has evolved with a vicious mutation locally and globally and KSOC 94.5 K SOUL, KBFB 97.9 The Beat, Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine R. Caraway, The City of Dallas and Councilman Frank Moss of the City of Fort Worth are joining forces to examine and discuss this perilous issue with its Inaugural Teen Violence Town Hall Meeting at Radio One Studios located in the Valley View Mall at 13331 Preston Road, Suite 1180 in Dallas, Texas.
Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, the Teen Violence Town Hall Meeting will place the subject of teen violence on center stage as both KSOC 94.5 K Soul and KBFB 97.9 The Beat's on air personalities BROADCAST LIVE ON AIR with guest from the City of Dallas, Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine R. Caraway (District 4), Dallas Council Members Carolyn R. Davis (District 7), Tennel Atkins (District
Police Chief David Kunkle and District Attorney Craig Watkins. Guests from the City of Fort Worthinclude, Councilman Frank Moss and Deputy Police Chief R. K. Robertson.
This town hall meeting of city officials, social administrators and educators will address numerous forms, facets and factors of teen violence and its effects globally but more specifically here in the Metro-Plex. This open forum will also allow numerous opportunities to dialogue how being proactive collectively as parents, individuals and within our communities is the key to diminish teen violence's growth in our homes, schools and neighborhoods.
The public is strongly encouraged to participate.
